Manchester University presents Dance Across the Ages

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – In honor of Homecoming and Family Weekend, Manchester University presents Dance Across the Ages on Saturday, Oct. 24, sponsored by the MU Ballroom and Latin Dance Club and the Alumni Relations Office.

This free night of music and dancing will start at 8:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym of the Physical Education and Recreation Center (PERC) on the North Manchester campus, with lessons beginning at 8 p.m.

The theme for Homecoming and Family Weekend 2015 is “A Blast from the Past,” and there is no better way to explore this theme than through a evening of music, with everything from jazz to big band, blues to swing, and rock ’n’ roll to disco. 

Manchester students Angela Ebert, Grant Ebert and MacKenzi Lowry – along with professional musicians David Hupp and Chris Johnson – will be presenting their musical talents. 

Guests are welcome to get their feet on the dance floor or simply enjoy an evening of good music, good friends and good memories. Light refreshments will be served.

The dance follows the Harlem Wizards game, which is also free and open to the public.
