Homecoming 2019

Stop by the Registration Tent between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to get all of your Homecoming items. This is where you can pick-up your name tag and the wristband that will get you into the Food Tent area. We will have the day’s schedule and answers to all of your questions here.

Visit Petersime Chapel between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to reflect on those who have passed.

The time has finally come! Join alongside all of our athletic teams as we break ground on our new stadium. The ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on the current football field. Light refreshments will follow.

Homecoming is for kids of all ages! Join us in the Kids Zone where our future Spartans can enjoy a petting zoo and some bouncy houses, get their faces painted and more!

Calling all Spartan Alumni of Baseball, Softball and Women's Basketball! Spartans from past baseball teams will get together for a fun alumni game. Sit in the stands as the old-timers huff and puff around the bases reliving their glory years!

Each year at Homecoming, the Peace Studies Institute honors an individual for their significant contributions to peace and justice.   Alumni are invited to honor the legacy of Abdul Ghaffar Khan as we add his name to the Peacemakers Wall in the Gladdys Muir Peace Garden at 10 a.m. 

Join the fun with our annual Ultimate Frisbee game from 10am- noon on the mall!

Join Manchester University pharmacy students and faculty from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at a health fair where they will provide education on important health topics and conduct health screenings.

Calling all reunion years! Stop by for your 5 year class reunion. You and your classmates will enjoy some pastries, juice, coffee and other items while you look through old Auroras and reminisce about yesteryear.

Come by the College Connections tent to see all your favorite Professors. Connect with other alums, reminisce and visit with current students.

The New! Chinworth Center will be open and available for all to see. The College of Business will give individual tours on the second floor from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come see the new space and catch up with your professors.

Learn more about the books from our alumni authors! Authors will be located in the lower JYSC.

At 11 a.m., we will begin our annual student cornhole tournament. The winning pair will win $100 per person. Sign up in the Office of Student Involvement!

Come check out all of the food tents located in the parking lot between the Jo Young Switzer Center and Garver Hall. Manchester Dining will have a Greek Town Grill, Homemade Chili Bar and the Great American Smokehouse! Click on Learn more to see the full menu!

The Spartan Street Fair is a new homecoming event this year! Student clubs and organizations will be selling items as a fundraiser.

For kids ages 4-12, this is a chance to run out onto the football field, leading our Spartan team into action! We will meet near at the VIP tent located inside the football stadium at 1:15 p.m. to gather the kids and lead them out to the field.

Cheer on your Manchester Spartans as they take on Mount St. Joseph at 1:30 p.m.  Hey kids! Join us near the PERC at 1 p.m. if you would like to run out with the football team.

Come meet Linda Crill, alumni author, for a book signing and short presentation!

Join other alumni and current students to connect, network and reminisce about the AAFRO House and previous Intercultural Center locations. Once everyone is assembled, the group will take the annual pilgrimage to the original AAFRO house location (corner of Miami and Bond) for a photo.

Join us for the induction and award ceremony at 5 p.m. in the Jo Young Switzer Center. Please R.S.V.P online here so we have enough seating.

You won’t want to miss the Homecoming performance by Robert Jones and Matt Watroba at 7 p.m. in Cordier Auditorium. This program is sponsored by the Peace Studies Institute through a gift from the Class of 1968.
