During the Church Leaders Conference, October 1980, Dr. Warren Groff, President of Bethany Theological Seminary, speaks on family under the lordship of Christ. Dr.Virginia Mollenkott speaks on "Sexuality and the Formation of Family," October 1980. She deals with the Biblical basis for male and female equality within the covenant community. 

The first full-time General Secretary of the General Sunday School Board in the Church of the Brethren, Ezra Flory, minister, elder, and educator, was the father of MC alumnus, Paul Flory. Ezra Flory received his Master of Arts degree from Manchester College in 1918.

Articles surrounding the Manchester University Cabinet's response to being asked to take a stand on legislation regarding same sex marriage.

A large collection designated as MC2011/227 and divided into 5 folder groupings; [1-16], [17-22], [23-44], [45-83]. Schutz was a professor at Manchester College, as well as a farmer, public speaker, pastor, candidate for Congress (Indiana,1932) and a contendor in the 1936 Governor's race. He was a Kiwanis Club official and Chairman of the Standard Life Insurance Company of Indiana. The collection describes Indiana before and during WWII.  Schutz corresponds with soldiers and provides names of North Manchester men killed in combat. Topics of import include; prohibition, economic recovery from the Great Depression, and Hitler's impact on Europe. Schutz was a contemporary of Andrew Cordier who participated in some of Schutz's political involvements.

United Sexualities:  A group focusing on providing support to members of the GLBT community working to educate and promote dialogue amidst the Manchester community concerning issues of sexual minorities (for example, provides "safe zone" training).

Friends for Sexual Awareness:  A student-initiated group working to educate people about the different risks involved in unhealthy sexual lifestyles and the options surrounding safe sex.  It provides confidential information and support to people who are struggling with sex-related concerns.
