Bio History Note | Dorothy Cordier is the wife of Andrew Cordier. Both individuals were Manchester College alumna and instructors. Dorothy was an artist and niece of the famous painter, Daniel Garber. This is a recording of Dorothy's memorial service. She is the mother of actress, Louise Cordier King. |
Archivist Note | The original recording of her memorial service was recorded on AMPEX tape. This tape was digitized by Stan Pittman's department in 2010. WAV files stored in media cabinet. Description prepared by Jeanine M. Wine 13 January 2011 and updated 22 December 2015 by Jeanine Wine. AMPEX tape recycled after Stan Pittman's Instructional Technologies group made a digital copy from the original AMPEX tape during September of 2015. The AMPEX tape will only deteriorate with time and this is the best possible copy possible. Digital copies now located on Archives' Network [W:] in the folder titled [Memorials]. |
