Scope and Content

1992 - Many senior citizens at Timbercrest are former Manchester College students, faculty, and staff and the Manchester College women's basketball team has formed an adopt-a-grandparent program.

Dr. Charles Boebel of MC, wrote a play about the life of Thomas Marshall, U.S. vice president from 1913-1921 under President Woodrow Wilson. Lilly has offered a challenge project grant to move and restore his birthplace.

1986 - MC professor,Charles Boeble, writes play, "Memory Speaks" to highlight North Manchester's colorful and intricate 150 year old history: David Grandstaff will play Thomas Marshall, Al Herring (MC director of Minority Affairs will be narrator and Harry the Barber), Pastor David Rogers will play a circuit riding preacher and Henry Heeter, others mentioned are; Dagney Boebel, Rosemary Manifold, Arthur Whisler, Ed Louder (playing Henry Comstock), MC students John Huston and Christopher Bowman, Orion Toepfer, Fran Gratz, Nancy Reed, Judy Scheerer.

1985 - Shepherd's Center created for older adults."

1992 - Pleasant Township fire department crew training to scale down walls in Cordier Auditorium.

2003 - Haunted Forest scares up fun.
