After marriage to Homer Bollinger, the couple lived and farmed outside of North Manchester, just past Chester School.Homer was the elected Chester Township Assessor for 33 years and after his death, Mae took over his responsibilities as Township Assessor. Mae (Emley) Bollinger worked as supervisor for desserts in Oakwood Hall cafeteria.
