Bio History Note

The office of Public Relations (Jeri Kornegay) was put under the jurisdiction of Marketing circa 2013. Kornegay retired during the summer of 2014.

The assortment of Informational files, news clippings, publications, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes from the Public Relations Office, were brought to the Archives by Morgan Peas upon Kornegay's retirement.

A note written on 25 October 2012, signed "Bev" (probably Beverly Ikenberry) is to Jeri Kornegay, Director of Public Relations: "This DVD was created for ECR by Dave Sollenberger several years ago.  It provides an overview of the 4th grade training happening at Koinonia."  Dave Sollenberger is a MC alumnus, videographer, and member of the Church of the Brethren.  "ECR" stands for "Education for Conflict Resolution" and refers to the tape titled, "Peace Learning Connection from Conflict to Cooperation."

Archivist Note

Morgan Peas documented this collection during the summer of 2014.  She had previous experience as a student assistant for Jeri Kornegay and for the President's office. Jeanine Wine edited this work and added to it in October of 2014.

Stan Pittman and his Instructional technologies assistants digitized the following media from this collection in April of 2015.  They are located on Archives' Network [W:] in folder titled [Public Relations Media].  DVDs were returned to Large Box after MP4 Video was created. Following digitization, VHS tapes were removed from collection by J. Wine 1 January 2015 because the best possible digital copy had been made and the tapes were only subject to disintegration.
