Archivist Note | When I started my work in the Archives [April 2006] there were piles and clumps of photographs and materials at various locations. It appeared as if Plunkett, Flory, Studebaker, and Ulrey items were stored "together" and so I boxed them and kept them this way for a length of 7 years. In this cluster was a picture of Calvin Ulrey. Not knowing the relationships between families I was not clear about how these articles should be described and accessioned? In 2013 I thought it was time to make a decision. Flory objects were separated and the Calvin Ulrey picture was accessioned [MU2013/91]. What is left in this collection may or may not go together - but now the objects are described - nevertheless. Perhaps a future archivist or family historian will be able to do more research and determine the best description and accession record for these materials.
