Following is a brief history that is written on a card in this album:
The Highland Ave. Church of the Brethren, 783 W. Highland, Elgin, Ill was our home church, for the entire time, during out wedded life.
The first five years, we came from our apartment in Saint Charles.
On Nov. 13., 1948, we moved to Fragrant Vista. We attended church from here for over seventeen years.
On June 20, 1966, we moved to Eagle Heights and attended the Highland Avenue Church until Everett's death Jan. 15, 1971.
