"Fifteenth International Congress of Limnology, ABSTRACTS," University of Wisconsin, Madison, August 1962 with article written in English and German by Bill Eberly on page 111, "Primary Production of Metalimnion of McLish Lake (Northern Indiana), An Extreme Plus-Heterograde Lake."

"The Limits to Growth," a Report for The Club of Rome's Project on the Predicament of Mankind, 1972.  This book has "Orpurt" handwritten inside the cover, so was probably part of Professor Phil Orpurt's library before becoming part of Eberly's.

Letter to Eloise from Bill's January Term trip West (circa 1976), along with related snapshots. Snapshots were scanned and can be located on Archives network by typing accession number in this format: MU2018_66.

Notebook documenting Bill Eberly's participation in the Citizen Ambassador Program, and accompanying trip to China. This was a People to People Biology Education Delegation to the People's Republic of China (1988).

Folder titled: Environmental Education at Manchester College, "The Big Picture." Eberly's folder contains what is probably a list of the corporate owners of Koinonia, but this would need to be researched elsewhere. The folder also contains copies of newspaper articles, MC , a copies of "Environmental Education, The Big picture," by Dr. Eberly (1991).

Reflections from Mark Huntington:


Dr.Eberly’s house had a kitchen fire while we were on this trip.  He feltvery badly he wasn’t home to help his wife

  • Triphighlight was the mule trip down the Grand Canyon and staying at Phantom Ranchat the bottom

  • Thefirst two nights we stayed in church basements.  Was not until the end ofthe third day that we could take showers

  • Thatmonth was the one and only time I ever tried to grow a beard
