Oakland Park was located one mile and a half from the Union Depot at Decatur and situated directly on the line of the Wabash Railroad. Oakland Park was improved to include: Two toilet rooms, each 12 x 32 feet, to be provided with proper sanitary arrangements - Lunch counter, 18 x 180 feet, to be all enclosed. Roof to extend four feet on either side and to be seven feet high at the eaves - To furnish telephone at the grounds - To furnish grounds with suitable hitch racks for feed and wagon yards etc.
