One book. | Date of Accession | 16 October 2007 | Bio History Note | This is a compilation of stories written by Bertha Inez Miller. She both attended and taught at the Acme School which was located on State Road114 about two miles west of North Manchester. Bertha was a sister of Ida (Mrs. Otho) Winger and Edith Miller, both of North Manchester. Bertha was also a classmate of Alice King, who married Adam Ebey, who went on to be Church of the Brethren missionaries in India. The Archives holds the diaries of Alice King Ebey. The compilation was assembled by Betha's daughter, Viola N. Whitehead. Bertha was ordained a minister with her first husband, the father of her five children. After his death, she married Rev. A. M.
