Student, D. Owen Cottrell received a B.A. from Manchester College in 1903.  This is his notebook on Botany Lectures for Winter Term 1898 - 1999 and Spring Term 1899, with notes beginning 7 December 1898. Nicely illustrated.

Francis was the second son of first College President David Howe and David's first wife, Delilah.  Francis (Frank) was an instrumental music teacher at Manchester College 1899-1900.  Frank was also the Inventor/founder of the Howe Vacuum Bait Company.
