Unit 101 Registrar's Records along with a brief history and reference material describing the creation of CPS Camp 101 and its sub-camps, of which Manchester College was one. Manchester College's 10-week program was directed locally by Dr. Andrew W. Cordier. The sixty-seventy CPS'ers were chosen by Brethren Service Committee, and the plan was for them to leave the country and begin relief and rehabilitation work immediately after the program's completion. |

Cordier gives detailed accounts of behind-the-scenes activity at the United Nations during the Cold War, and the reader can watch the situation in the Congo unfold. Cordier's role in the Cuban missile Crisis is described to Schwalm as are events on the Columbia University campus during a period of student uprising in the the 1960's. Cordier is always in the thick of things and his descriptions of political figures and events are intriguing. |

Allen Willmert, College Librarian Emeritus, 9 April 1990 listing the books that Harold Yoder donated to Funderburg Library. Harold Yoder wrote a special note to accompany his donation of the 1901 Hymnal. It stated that the 1901 Hymnal was used at the Camp Creek Church of the Brethren where his wife, Ella Yoder (deceased) worshipped as a girl. |
