A humorous story accompanies the anointing section and involves the anointing of a sister from the Mexico, Indiana Church of the Brethren. The anointing service was held at the woman's bedside while the family dog, Joe, hid under her bed, growling and barring his teeth. The woman's husband spent the service reprimanding the dog. |
