Scope and Content | 1. Photo montage of students and faculty in 1926.
2. One picture of a woman that appears to be printed in a painterly way on a type of wallpaper composition. |
Date of Accession | 11 June 2008 |
Bio History Note | This montage of photos was probably arranged for the "Aurora" although the Archivist has not had time to research this theory. The 27 3/4" x 21 1/2" composition was protected by a plastic wrapping and had been part of a stack of photos in the Archives Office. When the Archivist began her position in 2006, she went through this stack, found this montage, and pinned it by its plastic covering to the Archives wall for safe-keeping. Approximately two years later she observed that something (presumably a backing) had shifted between the montage and the plastic...and that this something was protruding off to the side. The Archivist started to remove this irregular backing and found this picture that had hidden behind the montage...probably for many years. |
