Manchester College was in 52nd place putting the school in a list of the top 100 private schools in graduates who continue on to receive doctoral degrees. 2. 1989 News Release telling that a study of the baccalaureate origins of the Ph.D. degrees from 1920 - 1980 shows Manchester College at a rank of 60 among the 1150 colleges studied nationwide. 3. 1993 newspaper article reporting Manchester's rank. 4.
