No. 19, Wednesday, December 8, 1926. | Date of Accession | Unknown | Bio History Note | The "Manchester Herald" was a newspaper in North Manchester. It could be subscribed to for $1.50 per year in advance. This particular issue focuses on the college and includes the 1926 - 1927 basketball schedule as well as articles about significant college figures, including Otho Winger, Vernon Schwalm, Andrew Cordier, Professor Conkling, and Coach Carl Burt. The "new gym" is announced and plans are displayed. There is a two page spread on the basketball team highlighting the players: Kenneth Kraning, Bill Bryan, "Bushy" McCann, "Snow" Evans, Ray Deardorff, "Bitey" Byron Bauman, Captain Wine and Paul Winger.
