Scope and Content

Photographs:  Canoe, lake and water pictures. One old photo circa 1920s?

1.  One older photo possibly circa the 1920's of 7 people in a boat.  Three ladies are in bonnets.  On the verso is written, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lind.

2.  Waterskiing.

3.  Large group gathering by water with man in foreground.

4.  Aerial view of the lake, probably at Camp Mack.

5.  Female student in cowboy hat rowing a boat.

6.  Male carrying a rowboat over his head.

7. People rowing boats on lake.

Bio History NoteThe Camp Mack tradition at Manchester College began in 1938, but Camp  Mack [the real name being Camp Alexander Mack] was opened by the Church of the Brethren in 1925. More information on Camp Alexander Mack can be found in the Brethren Encyclopedia.
