• " A Pioneering Experiment in Teaching Agriculture."  A paper presented by Otho Winger at a meeting of the Society of Indiana Pioneers at Indianapolis 1- December 1939, entitled," A Pioneering Experiment in Teaching Agriculture."  This paper features the great Miami chief, Little Turtle and Little Turtle's visit to Washington and his relationship with the Quakers.  Little Turtle asks for a Teacher of Agriculture to live among his peopleand the Friends (Quakers) send agricultural advisors. The paper describes the outcome and history.
