Bio History Note | Plans for renovating the old library building into the Communications Center following the construction of Funderburg Library in 1966. The Communications Building was demolished in 2009. Following is a History of the Communications Center - The original building was erected in 1915 as a Science Hall.

- In 1926 it became the Library.
- The campus "museum" was housed in the basement.
- The Communications Building (Center) was demolished in 2009.
