Wenge | | Date of Accession | 14 September 2015 | | Bio History Note | R. C. Wenger might have been a student at Manchester College (perhaps Russell C. Wenger of the alumni directory, MC Class of 1918. It appears he went on to study at Bethany Bible School in Chicago, Illinois (now Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, IN). Brother Wieand was the founder of the Bible School while also serving as a professor . This project might have been produced as a class requirement. Wenger's relationship with the Bible School/Seminary, however, is the archivist's speculation, and should be further researched. A Russell C. Wenger is listed in the Brethren Encyclopedia as being a minister in the Church of the Brethren.
