When the certificate was unframed a poster was found behind it.  The poster announces, the 40th Season of the north Manchester Civic, Manchester College Symphony Orchestra, in concert 22 April 1979. Slides.  A batch of slides was scanned and is accessible on the archives network by searching for MU2018_110.  Some of the individuals photographed were Professors Gary Deavel, John Planer, and Robert Jones. Students (unidentified) playing harp, drums, piano, violin/viola, saxophone, brass instruments, organ, were also pictured.
