Scope and Content | Social Science Festival Speaker Marty Smeltzer West is the third and final speaker for the convocation Social Science series. Marty was a student at Manchester from 1963 - 1965. She talks on ,"Confrontation with Choice." One reel-to-reel tape and two CD's, each recording portions of Ms. West's presentation. We as women are faced with too many choices, there are too many different roles that we are asked to play and that we want to play. The solution is to confront choices and make new societal structures as we go through changes in roles and life patterns that are inevitable for all of us. Professor Colburn introduces Ms. West. One reel-to-reel tape and two CD's, each recording portions of Ms. West's presentation. Convocation cassette tape #84 is a copy of Ms. West's speech. |
