The papers pertaining to the creation of the campus Museum, the Brethren Historical Collection, the  African Art Collection, and  the Archives, including the move of the Museum to the North Manchester Center for History.

• Folders beloning to Ferne Baldwin, curator of the old campus museum and the College's first archivist.  Folders include letters, committee minutes, budgets and expenditures.
• Old accession cards used to document objects in the collection.
• Spread-sheet of accessioned objects in the collection, many of which were put on long-term loan at the North Manchester Center for History in 2007. 
• 2 computer disks containing the digital version of the inventory of the College museum collection.  The museum file labelled "db2.mdb" must use microsoft Access to open.
• Several black and white photographs of segments of the collection in the museum.
• A DVD containing the photo record of items included in the College Museum before being moved to the Center for History.
• A notebook documenting the move of the collection to the Center for History.  This notebook contains a print-out of objects and their photographs that Jeanine accessioned before the move. 
• The notebook also contains folders describing the history of acquisitions in the African Art collection and discussion about how to utilize this art.

The African Art collection was not moved to the Center for History but was dusted off, vacuumed, photographed when possible, and then packed by Jeanine Wine for storage in Holl-Kintner.  The Communications Building that housed the Museum and African Art collection was scheduled for demolition and the heat was turned off.  The clock was ticking and everything had to be moved very quickly. 

The African Art collection was primarily donated by:

• Faye Moyer
• Mr. and Mrs. Kessler - Liberian Art
• Claude Rupel
• It is also possible that some items were donated by Robert Zigler, Jr.

Bill Eberly wanted most all of the objects remaining in the museum for storage and display in the North Manchester Center for History.  This request included items that had not been previously boxed by archivist, Sarah Smith.  There was no time to perform outgoing photographs or condidtion reports.  Photos were taken individually and then in groups.  Jeanine Wine accessioned some outgoing objects that appeared not to have had a record.  It is possible that there were duplications between Jeanine's accessions and the accessions on the spread sheet.

Old athletic trophies were not sent to the Center for History and remained in the building.
