Manchester College student involvement in the Seagoing Cowboy project, including Dan West, Class of 1917 (founder of the Heifer Project), and a host of others. Those men living in the immediate area of North Manchester were at the presentation and were given a chance to share their experience. Photos of each were taken.
Information on L. W. Shultz's trips to Poland and a $1,000 gift from the city of Warsaw, Indiana delivered to the mayor of Warsaw, Poland. L. W. Shultz was a Professor and Librarian at Manchester College as well as a historian and tour guide for many Church of the Brethren related trips. See the L. W. Shultz colletion in the Archives.
Story behind L. W. Shultz's receipt of the Kosciusko medal. Following Peggy's presentation the medal was donated by the Shultz children to the Manchester College Archives through the hands of Peggy.
