Bio History Note

Philomathea was the female counterpart to Philorhetoria.  In the 1935 Aurora there is a description of this program:

Mathea merged her talents with Rhetoria and together they reached the zenith of the year -- "Hearts on Parade" where candle light, music, food, evening gowns, geniality and wit were gathered together in the name of Mathea-Rhetoria. pg. 34.
