Bio History Note

Oscar Warner Neher taught at Mount Morris College from 1924 until it merged with Manchester College in 1932.  He was the only faculty member that transferred to Manchester College, where he taught biology from 1932 until 1954. 

O. W. served as Acting President of Mount Morris College following the presidency of Professor W. W. Peters and prior to that of C. Ernest Davies. The College was in financial difficulty and this was a challenge for Neher who had served as Dean of Men and Professor of Biology.
