Bio History Note | Kermit Eby, Sr., MC Class of 1927.
See photograph and article in "Aurora," 1926, pg. 99:
It appears as if the Lyceum Course Committee was responsible for bringing various lecturers, entertainers, and musicians to campus that represented some of the best talent in America in their respective fields. That school year entertainment featured: The Patton Brothers Trio, the Cleveland Symphonic Quartette, and Thomas Payne Whitney, reader.
Also appearing on campus (1925-1946?) as "leaders of thought" were Dr. Grenfel, Ida Tarbell, and S. Parkes Cadman. |
