A letter from Charlotte Mason Warner, daughter of Neva Mason, accompanies the scrapbook. The letter describes the significance of the scrapbook as does the article written by Mrs. Hazel Kurtz located on the scrapbook's first page, "A Long Friendship Is Celebrated Each Year." The names of the women are: Kay Moran Farrar, Mary Nichols Ettinger, Ella Mae Gottschalk Byrer, Neva Miller Mason, Nola McCauley Plaugher, Maxine Hileman Garber, Lenora Mishler Stark, Mary Nihart Wetzel, Mrs. Willis Kurtz. Nancy Dickson joined the group in 1964.
