The student can be free to express his feelings in any literary styles. Poetry and short stories give the student a chance to express himself and be creative. It is necessary for creativity to be used or the talent may be lost. Through a paper like this one, creativity and talent may be developed. The editors would hope that the articles that are submitted would have some literary quality.
The student can also be free to express his opinion on any issue about which he feels a concern. He can feel that any opinion will not be censored by the editors. If the paper carries any political tone, it is due to the tone of the articles submitted.
This paper is not the result of any institution nor is it printed by any organization. It is independent of every group. it is privately owned. All funds collected go into the printing of the next issue. No one on the staff is making a profit.
This paper is proof that those of us under the age of thirty (those who also think like they are under the age of thirty) do have feelings, thoughts and beliefs. We are sensitive to the things in our world. We are creative even though sometimes society tries to stop creativity and thinking.
There will be nothing obscene printed. One should not complain about anything that is printed because it is then his responsibility to write an article with his views.
Freedom comes from within oneself. The students going to high school have the freedom to express themselves. No one can take that freedom away!
