Public Program: "La Boheme," 1959, newspaper articles with photos.

1. MC2009/117a:  Laminated newspaper article from Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, 25 October 1959 advertising the Manchester College Public Programs Series and the recent visit of the New York Opera Festival and the Production of "La Boheme" in the College's gymnasium-auditorium.  Also pictures are the "small town assistants" MC College students, Larry Baker, Jim Tomlonson and David Johnson, who helped prepare scenery.

2.  MC2009/117b: Laminated newspaper article from the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, 25 October 1959 featuring members of the cast of "La Boheme" after their appearance at Manchester College.  They are shown boarding the bus: Anthony Palmeri, Italian baritone; John Modenos, Greek baritone, Sara Rhodes, soprano; Eddy Ruhl, Baltimore, Md., and Anna D'Arte, Chilean coloratur soprano.
