Media Coverage 2006 July through December, B. | | Date of Accession | 11 September 2008 | | Bio History Note | 28 Notebooks with slides, negatives, transparencies and news clips brought to the Archives by Karen, Student Assistant to Jeri Kornegay, on 10 September 2008. They were left without explanation other than notebook title. The Archivist has tried to determine dates and various highlights. Michelle Brewer - A thrower in Track and Field. She did all 4 of the throws, the shot, the discus, javelin, and the hammer. Michelle was a National Qualifier and part of the 1993 Track and Field Conference Championship Team. They were inducted into the Hall of Fame (Fall 2018) because they won the Conference Championship with only 9 people on the team. Two of those teammates were National Champions. At the Conference Championship she threw all 4 throws. Her best events were the shot and the hammer.
