Michaele's, best friend, other than Nancy Cushman. He kept in touch with Mike more than any other person during her 4 month battle with cancer. He has mourned her death as much as the family. Bill's health is not good and he has not worked much in last 2 yrs. But he did appear with Mike in 1950's.
| Archivist Note | Mrs. (Lavern) Marty Myers, the sister-in-law of actress, Michaele Myers, donated these materials to the Archives in 1974 - 1975. A correspondence file is located in the office of Rob Gratz, Director of Funderburg Library. It contains a list of actors and actresses who played along with Michaele, the titles and the dates of their performances, and comments about their relationship (an example follows below). The folder also contains a warmly written note about the death of Ms. Myers from the Chicago Tribune, 14 January, 1974 and a copy of "Equity News," March 1974, that includes a paragraph about Michaele's death.
