"These letters were written on onion skin paper during 1901 and 1902, the year my grandparents were married....It has been a journey of inspiration as I began to understand the depth of the love they had for each other. ... Although I was only six years old at the time of my grandmother's death, and eight years old when Grandfather died, the legacy of these 100 year old letters has given me a perspective on their lives which endears them to me in a new and wonderful way."
Lou Ann McKimmy
