For the reasons below, the objects were accessioned as part of the University collection:
1. It was written that the group was open to membership or honorary membership by all who were willing to sign appropriate sections of the Constitution. It did not specify that this group was closed to those outside the Church of the Brethren.
2. Donations to causes would be distributed by a committee consisting of the President, Vice President and Secretary of the Association as well as the Principal of the Bible School and the Elder of the North Manchester Church [probably the Church of the Brethren].
3. Meetings were held in the "Bible Room." [possibly on the College campus?].
4. Future president, Otho Winger, was a member of this association.
5. Half page insert, undated, with the motion to change the organization's name to the "Mission Study Class," and to meet Friday nights following Bible Society (Bible Society is a College related organization).
