Bio History Note

The name, Alma Wise, is written twice on the cardboard verso. According to the 1929 Aurora, Alma Wise served as the Superintendent of Oakwood Hall.

Delbert and Betty Kettering sent a note along with the picture:

This picture was found in the estate of Rev. Martin Krieger.  He was at Manchester College in the later 20's, we think.  We don't know the year of this picture.  His 3 daughters graduated from M.C. - Betty, Carol, Mary, in the 50's & 60's.

According to the Alumni Directory - Martin graduated from the MC Normal program in 1929. The frame of this picture matches another copy (hanging in Sanctum, West wall).  Perhaps a certain copies were ordered with frames then sold or distributed to students? J. Wine
