Scope and Content

Some information on the Rinehart family in Howard County, Indiana.

Date of Accession16 March 2011
Bio History Note

The Rinehart Family seems to be associated primarily with Howard County:

Howard County is the county that borders Carroll County on its east side.  The Rineharts are prominent Church of the Brethren leaders.  It would be advantageous for you to acquire the book, maybe through interlibrary loan, “History of the Church of the Brethren in Indiana,” by Otho Winger, 1917. In this book Abram, Abraham, Blanch, David Sr., David, John, and finally, Susannah Rinehart, are highlighted and/or mentioned.
