Bio History Note

The tape was identified as Mr. Sidney Lens, 3 March 1977, "The Day Before Doomsday." This is the title of one of the books Mr. Lens authored.  The five topics he was asked to speak on are listed above and one wonders where the "doomsday" appears.   Lens mentions last year's election campaign of presidents, Ford, Regan and Carter (1977 - 1981). Carter was preceeded by President Ford and Succeeded by President Reagan. Reagan was defeated by Carter in 1976, so it appears as if the date on the tape is accurate.

Lens was an American labor leader, political activist, and author.
