Scope and Content

1.  Tube with gilded letters, "Professor P. J. Flory," containing a diploma: The Victoria University of Manchester, Doctor of Science, (Honoris Causa),1969.

2. Diploma: The University of Akron, has confererd an honorary degree of Doctor of Science upon Paul John Flory, 1975.

3.  Red tube with gilded letters, "DOTT. ING. H. C. PAUL J. FLORY - empty - contents probably in Flory display.

4.  Red folder with diploma: The Ohio State University confers the degree of Doctor of Philosophy upon Paul John Flory, 1934.

5.  Red folder with diploma: The Ohio State University confers the degree of Doctor of Science upon Paul Flory, 1970.

6.  Green folder with diploma: Clarkson College of Technology confers the honorary degree, Doctor of Science, upon Paul Flory, 1978.

7.  Red folder with diploma: Indiana University confers the honorary degree, Doctor of Science, upon Paul Flory, 1977.

8.  Certificate from Manchester College, conferring the Alumni Award upon Paul Flory, 1975.

9.  One rather beaten up degree folder from the University of Cincinnati - empty - contents probably in Flory display.

Archivist NoteThese items were probably collected for the Flory exhibit, first floor, Funderburg Library.
