Bio History Note

Working with the statement, "My own brother, a year ago, tried to kill me."  The pain became the pain of hunger, and the pain of malnutrition, and the pain of poverty. He speaks of loneliness. As an impoverished, Native American child with emotional, speech and physical disabilities, he had never even learned to chew food. A long-term childhood friendship was eventually established with a woman who had faith, trust and love in him.  He speaks of the label of "Mental Retardation."

He is the author of "Macaroni at Midnight."

Digital MP3 file created by the MU Department of Instructional Technologies during the summer of 2014. Cassette tape discarded by J. Wine December 2015 because the best possible copy had been made and the tape was only in a state of deterioration.
