ProvenanceBill Eberly
Scope and ContentOne list recording birds sighted in North Manchester and Kosciusko County  (1889-1890) accompanied by location and date.
Date of Accession24 July 2014
Bio History NoteThe place of some of the bird sightings involve a location 1 mile north of Liberty Mills (that would be near or at the A. B. Ulrey family farm). The farm was just over the border of Kosciusko County and indeed, this location "Taken in woods near home, Kos. County" was described on the list. This would make the Archivist think that the original records, of May 1889 - March 1890, were created by A. B. Ulrey. Ulrey left Manchester  in 1900 to study at Rush Medical Hospital in Chicago and to further his career in California.
Archivist NoteDescription prepared 24 July 2014 by Jeanine M. Wine.
