Bio History NoteEldership - In the polity of the Church of the Brethren a man may be licensed to preach for one year or more or until he has completed his college and seminary training.  Upon graduation from seminary or the completion of certain study courses, he may be ordained to the full ministry.  After a minister has served the church faithfully for at least ten years and has shown a high level of churchmanship and maturity of judgment, he may be ordained to the Eldership. Note: Liberty Mills  Church of the Brethren shared in this service.
