Bio History Note

The Indiana Cooperative Board began in 1952 when representatives of the three Districts of Indiana met "to discuss the possibility of a state-wide approach to the home mission work of Indiana." The result was the creation of the Indiana Home Mission Extension Commission with the stated purpose of encouraging and financing church extension within the churches of the Brethren in the state of Indiana."
