Displays included one Mexican Day of the Dead altar by Professor Yanez, and a Manchester University altar depicting souls from Manchester's past (by archivist Jeanine Wine). A coffin was donated to the University by McKee Mortuary (North Manchester). Students were invited to experience the casket, by quiet contemplation, or by lying in the coffin and taking a "selfie."
