| Scope and Content | South Central Indiana District Conference, 1983: Esther Rupel occupies a spot by the Moderator. Paul Fike speaks. Also pictured is District Executive, Carol Petry and the District Conference moderator ( ? ).South Central logo and pictures from district office. The slide processing date for this batch was April 1979. A few of the pictures were processed at a different time and those are labeled "1979 c." Carol Petry, District Executive, is photographed at his desk and a group of what appears to be committee members are in discussion. Also are slides of the SCIND title, Indiana map, and Camp Mack promo. |

| Bio History Note | According to notes accompanying the slides, Paul Fike was the Moderator of the Church of the Brethren Annual Conference in 1983 and was at the SCIND Conference in 1983. Paul was NOT the moderator of the SCIND Conference, however. Paul is not the man with the mustache in the pictures.
