Bio History NoteAccording to Wikipedia, Sidney Lens (1912 - 1986) was an American labor leader, political activist, and author.  He was noted for the book, "The Day Before Doomsday," warning of the prospect of nuclear annihilation.  This pook was publisehd in 1977.  He was active in retail worker unions in Chicago and in the Anti-war movement during the Vietnam War.
