In support of its ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, Manchester University is expanding the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) to high school students from Kosciusko and Whitley counties.
The LRAP can help Manchester graduates with their federal student, parent PLUS and private alternative loans if their income after graduation is below $45,000. The assistance will continue until the graduate’s annual income exceeds $45,000 or until their loans are completely paid off.
This free program supports students as they pursue personal and professional passions without the added stress of debt.
Previously available only to students from Wabash County, loan repayment aid is now being offered to students who graduate from Kosciusko County or Whitley County high schools.
“Manchester University is committed to eliminating financial barriers for its students while simultaneously providing them a high-quality, transformational education,” said Ryon Kaopuiki, vice president for enrollment and marketing. “By expanding this program to the wider northeast Indiana community, we hope to ease the concern about loans for even more students.”
Manchester has offered this aid program to Wabash County students since 2022, with over a third of the participants indicating they would not have been able to enroll without the support of the LRAP.
To get started, students must review and accept their LRAP award here. Accepting this award does not commit a student to enrolling, but rather assures that they will be covered if they enroll at Manchester University.
