Manchester University’s spring musical is The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Performances are Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 13 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. in Cordier Auditorium at the North Manchester campus. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame tells the story of Parisian bell-ringer Quasimodo and his desire to live outside the walls of Notre Dame, free from hatred and persecution. While all ages are welcome, the show does feature some dark subject material and imagery.
The production is organized and led by members of Manchester’s Theatre Society. Sophomores Braydon Hoggatt, Jacob Smith Derksen, and 2022 MU graduate Ben Tipton are the co-directors.
Video recording by the audience is prohibited.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
