What’s your personal brand? Does it work?
Manchester senior Tiana Maclin – one of 20 Millennials Making a Difference in northeast Indiana and a 2016 fellow with Greater Fort Wayne Inc. – will present “What’s your brand? How to position yourself in a socially digital world” at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in Cordier Auditorium.
This event at the North Manchester campus of Manchester University is free and open to the public.
Maclin, who is studying management and marketing, will encourage fellow students to think about their brand and how they present themselves both in person and online. She will discuss behavior on social media accounts and how one can use social presence to land a job or better market yourself.
Her presentation will challenge listeners to think about their own brands and how they are creating them daily without even realizing it.
Human relations professional Jennifer Hindman will join Maclin to discuss what HR professionals are looking for when hiring employees. Hindman is the regional director of Human Resources, Organizational Development & Employee Health at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She also teaches at Manchester University.
The presentation is part of the Values, Ideas and the Arts series at the University.
